HP Pavilion dv3000: 13.3-inch high-performance
In our previous interview, we asked Massimo Valle, Consumer Notebooks Category Manager, Personal Systems Group, HP where he planned to distribute a model with 13-inch display. Valle stressed that the models with 12 and 14 inches could serve both the niche market for ultraportable, but had left an opening for the introduction of an intermediate model, with 13-inch display “does not exclude, however, that in 2008 may be no news in this. ”
And here’s the news: HP Pavilion dv3000, a new series of consumer notebooks with a 13.3-inch panoramic display, and a budget notebook hardware worth far more cumbersome. In fact, the technical characteristics are very similar to those of the HP Pavilion dv2700 notebook, which the new model looks like a scaled down version.

When any computer company launch a new model and we find that all they have done is added a letter to the end on the model number, this normally means an update to that model and not a new model at all.
This seems to be the case with the Asus Eee PC 1005PE-H is an updated version of the 1005PE and as of yet it is hard to find anything different about this machine, apart from the fact that is has surfaced in France and maybe the difference is more country specific.
