ASUS have quietly announced the official specifications for their larger Eee PC tablet, the convertible T101H.  Like its 8.9-inch T91 sibling, the T101H has an Intel Atom Z520 1.33GHz processor, 16GB SSD (paired with an included 16GB SD card) and a resistive touchscreen; however, in the case of the T101H that LED-backlit panel is 10.1-inches.

The panel runs at 1024 x 600 resolution, while RAM is 1GB (2GB maximum) and the battery is a Li-polymer pack apparently good for up to 5.4hrs.  Wireless options include WiFi b/g/n, Bluetooth and a 3G module, together with GPS and digital TV, though it’s unclear whether those final three are standard on a single T101H model, or will be spread out among several versions as with the T91.

There’s also a 0.3-megapixel webcam, stereo speakers and a digital array microphone, and the whole thing weighs 1.5kg.  ASUS UK have apparently confirmed that the Eee PC T101H is expected to launch by the end of August or early in September 2009, though given they’re also suggesting that it will run Windows 7 (which isn’t released until October 22nd) we’re not quite sure whether that’s accurate.  It’s possible a free upgrade to the new OS may be in the works.  No word on pricing as yet.
